Argudell

It is the most important variety in the NE area of Catalonia. It is mainly grown in the Upper Ampurdán, being exclusive in this area. Very vigorous variety, quite productive according to seasons. Fits different soil conditions. The ripening season is early and adapts well to mechanized collection, especially with vibrator. It is uniformly matured from the first week of December until the end of the same month. The fruit has an average resistance to fall. Pure olive oil of the native Argudell variety. Clean and clear appearance, with aromas of fennel, almonds and anises that seeks a balance between sweet and bitter.
