ORO BAILEN CAN 500 ML

Due to the early harvest, conducted when the fruit starts showing pigmentation and a change of colour in the flesh, this oil is reminiscent of tomatoes, apples, bananas, fig trees and freshly cut grass, typical of the variety picual. It is sweet at the attack and leaves final sensations of greenness and freshness. Its bitter and piquant aromas are surprisingly balanced.
Property located in the Northern Mountains of the province of Jaén, in the slopes of Sierra Morena, at 400 m altitude. Thanks to the climate of the river Guadalquivir basin, this oil made of picual olives shows a special aromatic quality. An early harvest is conducted (end of October, beginning of November). Semi-manual harvest in which the trunk is agitated by a machine so that the fruits detach themselves from the tree earlier and in a higher quantity with the aid of manual knocks down. The olives obtained are brought to the olive mill to be ground in a short period of time, since the maximum distance within the property amounts to 5 km only.
