CASTILLO DE CANENA RESRVA FAMILIAR PICUAL 250ML

Nice and clear golden yellow colour with warm greenish reflections. In the nose, it opens up and shows it complex and singular elegant notes reminiscent of tasty artichokes, eucalyptus and lettuce along with its aromas of mint, basil and rosemary. In the mouth, it is elegant and harmonious, and shows aromas of ripe bananas, freshly cut grass and a final hint of sweet almonds.
Oil produced by the Vañó family for generations. It is named after the castle owned by this family in Canena, Jaén, which was built by the Arabs on the ruins of an ancient Roman fort. The family manages the whole process of the elaboration of this olive oil and its distinguished presentation personally. In this olive groves located in a estate called El Conde de Guadiana, arbequina and picual olives are grown according to the rules of an integrated production. For generations it was usual to keep the best part of each variety's harvest for the family. Nowadays, the oil of these varieties is marketed under the name of Reserva Familiar de Cosecha Temprana.
