The Cavista teacher Agustí Torelló Mata, pioneer of the sector, after directing important caves of Penedès, in 1950 he founded his own company located in the heart of Penedès, in Sant Sadurní d´Anoia, the capital of Cava. In 1953 he inaugurated the first wine analysis laboratory in the sector. It is currently a family business of consolidated prestige.
